Ahoy sailor, indeed!
I went to see Birds of Tokyo and all I got was this silly t-shirt. :O)

"Oi, how much?"
Okay, on Friday night, I went to see BIRDS OF TOKYO perform at Festival Hall with B. I can't say that it was as good as I thought it'd be, but that was mainly because a) for over half of the concert, nobody in my section was standing up and singing and moving about, b) we could only see the side of the band, obviously the mosh pit would've been better, c) I didn't know all of the songs they performed, which made singing along a little difficult, and d) the venue sucks. Despite that, overall, it was pretty good. I really love concerts - the atmosphere is somewhat amazing, and it's proof that music sounds better LOUD.

Ta-da! Our view of the band.
"He's small." "...in what way?" "Hahahaha dirty! You're corrupted!" "You're the one who corrupted me!"
Last night was Evie's birthday get together, it was really nice to catch up and see everyone's faces again. SO MUCH FOOD! Really. The whole night involved roasting marshmallows on fires and candles, eating silly amounts of nachos, "we gon' light it up like it's dynamite" running through my head all night (oh dear), making E's dog chase shadows, playing around with C's dslr, and mmm.. guacamole! ♥

Apologies for the pics spam!
Now playing: Amy Meredith - Closer
Sweetheart, behind the mirror you hide
I'll try to find you from the inside
You strike a chord and it resonates my heart
And it sings, it sets the work alight
